Review Title: Absolutely Amazing
Review: I have tried so many different kinds of foundation & they always feel like it's caked on like a mask & I can't stand it & I tried bareminerals about a month ago & I fell in love it is absolutely amazing it is by far the best I have ever used. I have so many products from them. they are a little bit more pricey then other make up but I believe it's worth it. I won't ever go back to anything else. & I will will for sure tell others about it.

I have been wearing makeup since I was 14 and since then I have tried almost every foundation out there. Liquid foundations always felt heavy, and never stayed "fresh" looking all day. I always had to touch up during the day. My husband got me a Starter Kit in 2006 after I tried my niece's Bare Minerals and at first I used a bit too much- there is a bit of a learning curve, but soon it was exactly right. I love the slight glow of the original formula and it covers very well, whether you want a little coverage or more. The "no makeup feel" is incredible. It takes me so little time to put on my foundation, blush, and do my eye makeup now. No mess on my fingers-because I always hated using a sponge to apply liquid foundation. I agree that this is an outstanding product. I don't find myself touching up my face during the day, and this foundation lasts all day and night. I would suggest this product to anybody! LOVE!

I used liquid foundation since I started using makeup, but with Bare Minerals I get the coverage of a liquid while maintaining healthy skin. Honestly, when you first put it on it doesn't look perfect, but once your skin starts to meld with it, it's absolute perfection! So natural and pretty. I have oily, acne-prone skin, and this is the first foundation that I have encountered that makes me feel pretty... love it.

This took a little getting used to. I've only been using it for a few days, but it really does look MUCH more natural than any other foundation I've tried. My only problem is that it doesn't conceal very well-at least not for me. I have to use my regular concealer. Other than that, they just blend right into your skin and keeps my oily skin from shining 1/2 way through the day-but it lets your skin shine through. It was a little expensive but so far it's been worth it because it really does look natural and fresh.

I really wished that this would work for my oily, acne prone skin but it didn't. The company says it will look like you do not have anything on, but it looks like you have something on and the coverage is not great. It took to long to mix and buff. The good thing about it is it doesn't feel like you are wearing makeup.

I was really impressed with bare mineral makeup. I prefer liquid foundations like Maybelline wonder finish, but this one goes on really smooth, and looks really natural

I have Bare Escentuals medium powder foundation and all in all it has a nice matte finish. Its not groundbreaking and does it last long, but it's one of few powder foundations that I trust. My only complaint is how it can get shimmery on my forehead unless I apply a different powder over it.

I've only been using Bare Escentuals products a few weeks and I know for a fact that I will never use liquid foundation ever again. It's totally changed my life! Well, my beauty regime anyway! I used to only wear any make up at the weekends. Being a married woman I don't get out much! Anyway, the reason for my 'laziness' wasn't only because it took so long to apply but I have always looked too made up with make up on and we all know slapping on foundation isn't good for our skin! But now I dot on bisque over my blemishes, sweep on my #2.3 foundation, swirl some glee on and finish off with mineral veil. The process takes less than 5 minutes. If I were really pushed for time I could probably do it in 2! Well, the result is natural and I look healthy all the time now, not just at the weekends! Love it. Have converted my mum who's in her 50's and will be working my way through my relatives next!

I bought a "try me" pack of bare minerals and was really skeptical because of my dry skin...I figured it would make me look parched and flaky. I was pleasantly surprised....this really looks great and very natural, and I like that it doesn't feel like I'm wearing any makeup. It took me about a half hour to apply it right, but overall is a great product!

I am very happy with Bare Escentruals and plan to use their products from now on. If you do decide to give it a try, I would definatly recommend getting a copy of the video with application tips. I also think that the color you choose is important, I usually wear very fair/light foundation, but the medium shades work beautifully with my skin tone. I little extra mineral veil on my oilier areas and where my pores are noticable. I also think it's a good idea to moisturize before applying the product.

I always hated the thought of wearing foundation because I thought it looked so fake, but I decided to try Bare minerals and I'm very glad I did. This covers everything so well! Not that my skin is that bad, but it works in the areas that I need it and it does look really natural. The mineral veil is great. I have an oily t-zone and this keeps me un-shiny for about 4-5 hours through the day. Tip: Don't overdo the mineral veil, b/c then you'll get a powdery, fake look and this line is all about looking natural, which it does if you apply with a light hand. I am a devoted buyer of this foundation now!

The first time I tried Bare Minerals I thought it was aweful. I kept hearing everyone talk about it and I decided to try it again. I just didn't know what I was doing the first time. Once I applied it well and had my mineral veil(can't live without) to go over it, I loved it. At work people kept asking me what had I done because I was glowing!

I love love love my bare minerals. I use 2.3, which is a color in between light and medium. I have oily skin and it is blemish prone. I'm fair complected with freckles. A little trick I use is to apply a light fluff of mineral veil first. before the minerals foundation. Swirl, tap and buff the minerals until you get desired coverage. Use concealer. And another fluff of mineral veil. I use oil suckups during the day and I stay good to go.

I absolutely love bare minerals foundation and mineral veil. Once you get technique down, your skin will look flawless. It really controls the oilies too!! The mineral veil helps with that. It only takes a small amount of minerals in the lid to cover your entire face. I strayed a while back and realized that same day how awlful my makeup looked. I went back to bare minerals the next day and was so glad. My face looked great again. I have tried a lot of foundations but this one is my favorite!! I mix 2.3 with 4.53 (tan) for the summer. Great combo. I also never go anywhere without my mineral veil. This stuff is great. I apply it several times a day and it never looks cakey or chalky. It really does blend into your skin. It also helps to make my pores look smaller. All together these products are great and make my face look fabulous. I have gotten so many compliments since I have been using it. I highly reccommend it!!

I am a recent Bare Minerals convert! Gotta Love the minerals! They provide excellant coverage and it feels like you're not wearing any makeup. Application is fast and easy once you get the hang of it. The mineral veil is a must as well. It sets the foundation perfectly.

I love this stuff. The foundation is the best, does exactly what it says in the commercials and everything. It doesn't really help me that much to control oil (didn't expect it to) and I would not reccommend this for people with wrinkles (my mom tried it too). It seeps into your wrinkles and makes them more noticable.

I really want to like this stuff, so I keep trying. And every time, I wind up washing my face because it makes me look dead. I've tried using a primer first; I've tried without; I've tried using a little, using more, using it with Warm Radiance, blah, blah, blah. I give up. It just cakes on top of my face and looks like what it is: powder.

I have this foundation in 2 - light. It provides good coverage and is easy to apply. It makes your skin feel soft too.Ever since I started wearing Bare Minerals foundation and then added in the mineral veil to my daily applications, people can't stop commenting on my complexion!Somebody today said "Can I ask what foundation you use? Your skin is gorgeous and it looks natural!" I wrote down the Bare Escentuals website for her to check it out b/c we can't get it yet in Canada.Bare Minerals has become my favortie foundation, and now I'm dying to try their blushes.I really like this concept of mineral makeup. What a clever invention this is!It's just totally amazing, can't say enough about Bare Minerals!!!

Ok, so I put this on top of the foundation to "set it." I really don't see anything special about this. It does make your face feel soft, but I probably wouldn't buy this again, nothing I can't achieve with my Revlon Skin Lights glow powder. Oh yeah, I had to put on my trusty MAC Fix spray to complete my makeup, esp. cause I feel this makes your skin look too cakey and that is saying something, as my skin is oily to normal.

As a 40 year-old woman with combination skin and large pores, I so wanted to like Bare Escentuals. Upon purchasing the BE 4-pc. Perfect Complexion Kit from QVC (with Bare Minerals Foundation 2.3, Mineral Veil, Warmth and Face Brush), I couldn't wait to try it as I heard so many good things about this line. Well, my hopes were dashed. Upon applying some makeup primer, I then applied the BM 2.3, which BE states is for "Light to Medium skin". It ended up looking a little too dark on my "Light to Medium skin". In addition, it not only made my pores look bigger but it gave a strange mineral sheen to my face! Hoping to soften that mineral sheen, I tried applying the Mineral Veil but still the look wasn't soft enough. Also, the Warmth was (again) too dark for my skin even though I applied just a little bit to my face. It does make for a great contour eyeshadow, however. And I must admit that the Mineral Veil makes a good finishing powder but there are others on the market that work just as well. Frankly, all that swirling, tapping and buffing that BE tells you to do was taking a toll on my wrist! Imho, if a product takes so much effort to apply, it is simply not worth buying. There are many other products on the market that take less effort and the result is a smooth, healthy-looking face.
